Drs. Ronald W. Bolhuis |
Drs. Badri N. Madan. Member of
the association since 1969 he was on the executive board for a
number of years during which he held the posts of both Secretary
and President. He has again been the President of the board
2002-2006. He is also past chairman of the Indian Business
Chamber, past President of the International Rotary Club, the
Hague Metropolitan, Wassenaar and The Foundation for Critical
Choices for India. He is a patron of the International
Biographical Association and the director of a holding company
dealing in real estate as well as other activities.
Drs Marianne S. Oort. She has
been a member of the association since 1973. Executive board
member for more than 12 years she has held the posts of President,
Treasurer and Secretary in the past and is currently Treasurer.
She studied Sanskrit at the University of Leiden and received an
MA. Worked as Orientalist Librarian at the Kern Institute, Leiden
in the department of Languages and Culture of South and Central
Asia until early retirement in 1997. Currently taking part in an
international project to translate and edit the Paippalada
Atharvaveda. Also very honoured to be a member of the Indian
Ladies Club. She is married to Dr. C.J. Oort and has 3 sons and 9
grandchildren.
Mr. Dave Gurnani. Member of the
association since 1989, he has been a member of the board
2002-2006 and has served on the Membership Committee. He completed
his education in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and has his own company in
baby garments under the brand name JUST BORN BABY. He is married
to Sonia and has 3 children.
Dr. Gopi Menon. Has been a
member of the association for many years. He has served on the
Auditing Committee.
Mr. Pramod Sharma. Member of
the association since 1984 he has served as an executive board
member for more than 10 years and was a past Vice-President. He
was on the cultural committee of the board 2002-2004 and a member
again 2004-2006. He studied Hotel Management in India and owns the
Mayur Restaurant in Amsterdam.
Mr. A.L.Chr. Oomen. Has been a
member of the association for a long time. He was a member of the
board in the past and was also Treasurer. He again joined the
board 2002-2006 as a member. He is an advocate by profession.
Mr. Rajiv Rai Mehra. Resident
in the Netherlands since 1976 and a member of the association
since early 1980. He has been a member of the board 2002-2004
working on the cultural committee. He studied Hotel Management in
India and now owns and operates two hotels in Amsterdam and has
business interests in the USA. Also a Founder Board Member of the
Indian Business Chamber, Founder Board Member of the Netherlands-
India chamber of Commerce and Trade and a trustee of the
Foundation for Critical Choices for India.
Dr. Dev R. Chadha.
A member of the association since 1978, Executive Board member
over a decade. Past Vice President (1985-1987) , President
(1996-1998) and has been a member of the board 2002-2006. He has
been trustee of The Cultural Fund since its inception until 1998.
A medical graduate from the University of Kolkatta. He was
honoured with a medical degree from the University of Leiden and
is a Fellow of the royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. He
was heard of the Clinical Research & Development of one of the
largest pharmaceutical companies-Hoechst now known as Aventis. He
is married to Dr. Savi Chadha and has 2 children and 2
grandchildren.
Drs. Ronald W. Bolhuis. Member
of the association since 2002. New member of the board 2007-2008.
He studied Economics in Rotterdam and now owns New Age, a software
and services company in The Netherlands.
